Color Block Jam Level 623 Walkthrough for All Versions
Level 623 is an expert puzzle because every version protects the center with either a chain lock or high numbered blockers. Do not chase keys randomly; each key should be moved only after its matching lane is open.
Level 623 Version 1
Version 1 - Top Chain 6 With Multiple Keys
This Level 623 version includes a top chain lock 6, keys on blue, green, red, and cyan blocks, wooden 6 and 9 crates, and a light-blue 12 blocker.
Board Analysis
- Top exits are blue and yellow. The sides include purple and green exits, while the bottom has green, cyan, red, and dark/locked exit slots.
- The top teal horizontal block is chained with a 6 lock. It blocks the top-center route and should be released only after the upper-left green/red stack has room.
- The lower-left wooden 9, wooden 6, blue key block, and light-blue 12 form the main traffic jam around the bottom exits.
Recommended Route
- 1Start by opening the lower-left pocket. Move the small red key block and wooden 9 only after the green bottom exit lane is not blocked.
- 2Shift the blue key block in the lower center to create a lane for the light-blue 12; this is more important than rushing the top chain.
- 3Clear the purple cross and upper-left green/red stack enough to give the chained teal block a destination.
- 4Unlock the top chain after six required clears or key progress, then move the teal block away from the top center immediately.
- 5Use the cleared top to drain the tall purple and green pieces, then finish through the bottom cyan/red exits.
Avoid These
- Unlocking the top chain while the upper-left stack is still packed.
- Moving the light-blue 12 into the bottom lane before the blue key block is out of the way.
Level 623 Version 2
Version 1 Alternate Capture - Same Chain 6 Layout
This alternate Level 623 board repeats the chain 6 and key layout, so the route focuses on lower exits, then top chain release.
Board Analysis
- The same blockers are present: top chain 6, wooden 6 and 9, light-blue 12, and multiple key blocks.
- The bottom exits still decide the solve. If the lower row stays full, the keys have nowhere useful to go.
- The tall purple right block and green side exit should be delayed until the central 12 is no longer blocking the lower lane.
Recommended Route
- 1Follow Version 1, opening the lower-left pocket first.
- 2Move key blocks only when they create a new empty cell near the center or bottom row.
- 3Release the top chain after the upper-left stack has space, then clear tall right-side blocks.
- 4Finish by sending the remaining cyan, red, and green pieces through the bottom exits.
Avoid These
- Using key moves as filler without opening a lane.
- Clearing the tall right purple block before the bottom row is ready.
Level 623 Version 3
Version 2 - Compact Board With 35 and 25 Number Blocks
This Level 623 version has central 35 and 25 numbered blockers, bottom purple and red exits, and narrow side exit lanes.
Board Analysis
- Top exits include purple, blue, green, and cyan; sides include cyan, green, orange, and yellow; bottom exits include purple and red.
- The 35 cyan and 25 purple blockers sit in the exact middle. They are late blockers, not opening moves.
- The lower red/orange/yellow blocks are wide and need center space before they can leave cleanly.
Recommended Route
- 1Clear the outer short blocks first, especially top blue/green/cyan and side orange/yellow pieces.
- 2Use the outer lanes to move the large bottom yellow and orange blocks without touching the 35/25 center too early.
- 3Once enough pieces are gone, open the center by moving the 35 cyan blocker first if it frees a vertical lane; otherwise move the 25 purple blocker toward the bottom purple exit.
- 4Keep the two red central blocks from blocking each other. Red should be routed after one of the numbered center pieces has moved.
- 5Finish with the remaining wide green and blue pieces through their top or side exits.
Avoid These
- Trying to solve the 35/25 center before the outer lanes are cleared.
- Moving bottom orange/yellow pieces into the center and trapping the red lane.
